Today at 11:45 a.m. a power failure occurred in the Skylink data center. There are two UPS systems in the data center, one of which has unfortunately been defective since the beginning of this week. A maintenance appointment was scheduled for tomorrow. Unfortunately, the defective UPS system did not work as expected, which led to an outage.
The power supply was restored shortly after. Servers and especially network devices like routers and switches unfortunately need several minutes to start up again, which is why there was a certain delay until everything was back online.
We apologize very much for this incident and accommodate all customers with a runtime credit of 5 days. Please contact our support for this. Currently we are still checking all servers and fixing last problems, but at the moment everything is running again.
